Mike leads the team that ensures MOR PPM (PPM) maintains its strong financial position. His responsibilities cover all financial operations, including financial reporting, treasury, billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and credit and collections. Mike also lends his expertise to other areas such as Purchasing, Human Resources, IT, risk, contracts, and bids. Mike works with other team members to establish the company’s strategic plan and focus so that PPM can continue its position as a premier provider of mechanical and support services.
Expertise
Bringing over 33 years of accounting experience to the organization, Mike's expertise includes a varying assortment of accounting and other functions, within multiple industries, including mining, paving, manufacturing, mechanical maintenance, and construction.
Mike is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of South Carolina. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the South Carolina Association of CPAs. Mike received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
The Personal Side
Mike is married and has four children. He also has two grandchildren. In his spare time, Mike enjoys spending time with his family and coaching his children’s baseball and football teams. He also enjoys hunting and fishing, and all sports, especially college football.
